What is the difference between the Express and Professional versions?
The Express version can be downloaded for free. For the first 30 days the Express version will allow instant editing. After that it will continue to import PGN files and display all the information in the ebooks. You can register the program for $29 and it will enable editing forever.

Can I use Bookup 2000 Express as a game database?
Bookup’s Game menu serves as a PGN game database. While it is not nearly as sophisticated as Chess Assistant or ChessBase, it will index millions of games including the MasterChess 5000 database. It will search by player names, ECO codes, opening moves, dates and game results.
